Many celebrities are known for diligently following the law of attraction and blaming much of their success on this practice. One thing I’ve learned after studying dozens of successful and driven people is that: success is a mindset. Whether you believe the law of attraction is ruling our lives or not, it cannot be argued that your mindset dictates your entire life.
One of my favorite celebrities to listen to on this topic is Jim Carrey. He has such a beautiful perspective on life and really gets what it is all about. Seeing someone as living proof of how the universe is working for you is amazing. I wanted to share this YouTube video: Jim Carrey on the law of attraction that I love listening to. When I worked in a corporate office, I would take a break each day to step away from my desk and listen to podcasts, talks or YouTube videos that light me up. Jim Carrey speeches were ones I frequently played on repeat.
In a snip of the video, Jim Carrey tells the story of how he wrote himself a check for $10 million dollars for “acting services rendered”, dated it three years from that moment, and kept it in his wallet. Three years later, he made $10 million dollars, and attests this to the mindset he achieved by using the law of attraction. Skeptics may call BS. But I say its brilliant, and more importantly deeply motivating. I am going to write myself a check for a tremendous amount of money and I encourage you to do the same. Once you decide on the amount you will write it for, double it.
There are many Jim Carrey quotes I love, but my absolute favorite quote of his is this:
“So many of us choose our path out of fear disguised as practicality.”
I almost want to cry reading this because I was once there, living that path. I know how true that statement is and how amazing it feels to escape that mindset. Our perspective truly rules everything in our lives. If you ever find yourself calling a decision you’ve made realistic or practical, please stop and figure out if fear is really at the root.
I encourage you to watch this short video and take his words in. I hope you enjoy as much as I did. <3Follow This Blog
