Peanut Butter Chocolate Banana Smoothie Recipe

Hi! I’d like to share with you one of my favorite recipes from my new smoothie recipe e-book! Peanut Butter + Chocolate+ Banana… Are you drooling yet? I am! Peanut butter and chocolate is a classic combo. Add in banana and you’ve got a heavenly trio that can rule the world. This peanut butter chocolate banana smoothie recipe is HEALTHY and delicious. It uses cacao nibs instead of chocolate, because we know cacao is actually nature’s chocolate and is great for us. It’s filled with staple smoothie superfoods and is one of my favorite rich smoothies. Sometimes I just get sick of green smoothies & need some sweetness in my life, ya know?

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup kale

  • 2 tbsp cacao nibs

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

  • 1 banana

  • 1 tbsp maca root powder

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • ½ part water

  • ½ part almond milk

Add ice if necessary. If the smoothie is too thick, add more water & reblend. Voilà!

I hope you love it as much as I do! This smoothie is filling with energizing superfoods, but I’d imagine it would be equally as good to mix some coffee in for the caffeine lovers. Get cray.
